Just Blaze was arrested in Paris last night. That should be one hell of a story, only we don’t know what for and he’s since been released. But the craziest part isn’t that the popular producer was cuffed and detained across the pond, but that he managed to live-tweet the entire thing.

It all started at around 11:30 EST, when Blaze, born Justin Smith tweeted, “Oh lawd, goof to jail,” which we think is typo-speak for “Oh lord, going to jail.”

Minutes later, he wrote, “In jail, without the bail.”

It continued. After answering a bunch of fan questions (yes, he was in jail, he replied), Blaze said the authorities were “being cool.”

“Yes. I am tweeting. And yes I am in jail. in Paris. They are being cool and letting me keep my phone for now,” he tweeted. “They are asking me things I cant answer.. I stopped french accelerated classes when I was 10..”

He then went on to describe wearing handcuffs—they hurt, but he’s cool with it—before signing off for a few hours. Then, at around 1:30EST, he said he was being released without a fine. For what? We still don’t know. #FreeJustBlaze.
