Fang Island announce 'Major', due out July 24

Fang Island announced today that Major, their next album of songs to high-five to will be out on July 24th. The follow-up to their 2010 self-titled album, the band says the album is named partly “in honour of Valley Girl colloquialism.”

We’d expect the first full taste of the album should be online something in the coming weeks, but Fang Island have graciously posted a short teaser for you to wet your whistle with for the time being. [via Pitchfork]
