End Hits is a weekly podcast hosted by Sam Sutherland, featuring interviews with musicians and musician-types from a dining table in Toronto.

Our twelfth episode of End Hits (listen to the rest another time) brings Holly McNarland to our dining table. The distinctive voice behind ’90s alt rock radio staples “Elmo” and “Numb” (from the platinum-selling Stuff), McNarland’s output has slowed since her Juno-winning “Best New Artist” days; a devoted mother of two, her latest album, Run Body Run, was just released on May 15. Completely D.I.Y. for the first time in her career, McNarland has taken to the internets to spread the gospel of the (really good) record, getting creative with contests, Kickstarter, and more.
