Animal Collective announce new album, 'Centipede Hz'

Last week we posted two new Animal Collective songs under the assumption that while they were part of an upcoming single, a new full-length had to be on its way. Today we can confirm that with word that the group will release Centipede Hz in September.

The announcement came on a typically cryptic 90-second video posted on the band’s website (watch it above). The clip is peppered with the occasional phrase, which Domino confirms to be song titles for the upcoming album.

Centipede Hz is expected out this September.
