2012 marked AUX’s second year at SXSW. We ate a lot of Korean tacos, talked to a bunch of bands, and shot this tv special about the festival and the disturbing amount of life it breathes into the city of Austin every year.

We spoke with Sharon Van Etten while an ambulance pulled in behind us to rescue a bloodied Trash Talk fan; Cadence Weapon detailed his new record; Flux Pavilion told us how he wants to tour with a full band; Welsh post-punks Future of the Left wasted no time rating their SXSW experience as “three cocks below zero;” and Ninjasonik promised to tell us their naughtiest tales on a new channel, “AUXXX.”
