Listen to a new Masta Ace song, "Slow Down," produced by DOOM

Masta Ace has finally figured out the trick to getting a DOOM collaboration released: use stuff he recorded years ago. And on that note, okay, we lied. “Slow Down” wasn’t produced by DOOM so much as it’s a song which features Masta Ace rapping over an old DOOM instrumental taken off the elusive, masked MC’s Special Herbs albums. Call it a case of “close enough”.

But at least we know this one’s actually coming out. Masta Ace’s upcoming MA DOOM: Son of Yvonne should be out this summer.
