Last night, Taylor Swift took home her 2nd consecutive ACM Award for Entertainer of the year. Spoiler alert: she was very surprised. In her speech, she flexed her gracious muscles, saying “I am just so amazed that the fans keep doing such incredibly nice things for me. I just want to hug them all the time and thank them for everything – it really blows my mind.”

Then, On Saturday night at the Kid’s Choice Awards, the first lady herself Michelle Obama awarded Taylor Swift with the “Big Help Award,” an award reserved for stars displaying a remarkable philanthropic effort. Taylor received the award this year for her efforts assisting American tornado and flood survivors, and volunteering at the Make-A-Wish Foundation.

How does the top earner in professional music stay as humble as Taylor Swift does? She’s been nominated for 162 major music awards, winning 102 of them, and yet every time she walks up to the podium to give her acceptance speech, she looks like the very last thing she expected to do that evening was to actually take an award home.
