The cause of Whitney Houston’s death has been ruled, as suspected, as a drowning, with her heart disease and cocaine use also being named factors. The death was also ruled as accidental.

Despite the cocaine, as well as traces of other prescription and recreational drugs (Xanax, marijuana, and more) in her system, Houston did not die of a drug overdose.

Houston was found submerged in her hotel room bathtub on February 11 just hours before she was set to appear at a Clive Davis Grammy Awards party. [via Huffington Post]
