Watch the new Sharon Van Etten video, "Leonard"

Sharon Van Etten’s third album Tramp was one of our favourites released last month (and we’d be surprised if it didn’t stay that way for the rest of the year), and she’s just released a video for the soft “Leonard,” a contemplative shuffle on love lost.

The Sam Zimman-directed video does a good job of conveying the bygones feeling of the song. Only a few subtle glimpses of Van Etten herself—like a ghost, almost—are layered with fleeting images of cityscapes. [via Pop & Hiss]
