Watch the new Lemuria video, "Pleaser"

New York’s Lemuria have just released the video for “Pleaser” from their most recent album Pebble, just a month after releasing their first video ever for “Wise People”
The video was directed by Thom Glunt (Fireworks, Anti-Flag), who calls the video his most deceiving. “On the surface it seems so cute, playful and sweet but the overall tone is saddening,” he says. I hope that people can walk away still feeling good because the video is about a boy illustrating his love for his mother even if his actions are in vain. My inspiration for the video came from the feelings of disappointment I had when I received some of these toys as a child and the idea of “what if they had actually worked like they were advertised?”
