K’naan has really embraced his voice as an inspiration to the downtrodden, and the singles from his newest EP More Beautiful Than Silence have really echoed that.

The video for his single with Nelly Furtado, “Is Anybody Out There?,” mirrors this too, playing the “you’re not alone, kid” angle a bit heavy-handedly, but based on the demo it’s trying to reach, it could probably be impactful in some way.
