Taking Back Sunday singer Adam Lazzara's leg crushed by tree

Taking Back Sunday singer Adam Lazzara is in recovery after his leg was crushed by a falling tree in rural Michigan this weekend. According to TMZ, Lazzara was stepping out for a smoke when high winds brought down a nearby tree, landing on (and breaking) his leg and pinning him to the ground.

While his bandmates quickly rushed to help, the tree was heavy enough that it had to be sawed off in pieces by the local fire department.

Lazzara is reportedly fine, but he’ll be slightly hampered by the injury for 4-6 weeks. Head over to TMZ to see some of the aftermath, but be warned that it’s a bit graphic.
