Last week, fabulously rotund R&B vocalist Cee Lo Green announced that he is working on his memoirs. With a 2013 publishing date, we simply can’t wait to see what Cee Lo has to say about his life. So, we here at Pop Hunter thought we’d make a few informed “predictions.”

Last week, fabulously rotund R&B vocalist Cee Lo Green announced that he is working on his memoirs. Green had this to say in the press release:

“Talk about art imitating life? Enter into the super-natural, the surreal and the extra-ordinary that is [Cee Lo Green.] Do you think this is by chance? CRAZY? FORGET YOU? After reading this book, there will be no doubt that I am meant to be. CEELO GREEN A.K.A ‘everybody’s brother’ will make you a believer, not only in me, but also…yourself.”

That kind of flowery prose has us excited for Cee Lo’s musings. With a 2013 publishing date, we simply can’t wait to see what Cee Lo has to say about his life. So, we here at Pop Hunter thought we’d make a few informed “predictions.” Here are some possible quotations that we came up with, to tide us over until the real memoir is published next year.

“When I was just a child, I think I always knew that I’d one day be on stage at the GRAMMYs, suspended in mid-air at a piano, dressed as a colourful peacock. Then again, I huffed a lot of glue as a child.”

“Early in my career, people used to call me the GOODIE BLOB. I coped the only way I know how – by eating 40 goodie bars per day.”

“My horribly embarrassing stutter has never come in handy more than when I was writing the lyrics for ‘Crazy.’ ‘I remember when — I remember — I remember when I lost my mind’ and ‘Who do you — Who do you — who do you — who do you think you are?’ are some of my finest accidental lyrics.”

“If I had a dollar for every time someone has yelled out ‘HEY GNARLS!’ at me on the street, I wouldn’t have had to take that damn job coaching on The Voice.”

“My biggest creative regret is censoring my hit single ‘FUCK YOU.’ The original title ‘SKULL-FUCK YOU’ was much more true to my creative vision.”
