Pitbull did Men in Black III's theme song instead of Will Smith

Let us be the first to say boooooooooooooooooooooooo. Say what you will about Big Willie Style, but the Fresh Prince’s Men in Black theme was the summer cinema jam back in 1997, so we’re a little disappointed to hear that Pitbull’s behind the theme for the franchise’s upcoming third film instead of Will Smith. Here’s hoping it’s at least better than “Black Suits Comin'”.

NME reported earlier that Pitbull has already recorded the song, which he describes as “fun, yet modern,” adding that he “used the slogan of the movie and flipped it back into the song that ‘in order to understand the future, you have to go back in time’.”

No, we don’t know what that means either. Whatever. Men in Black III hits theatres on May 25th, but Pitbull’s movie-centric single is out a few weeks earlier on May 6th. It’ll be called “Back in Time”.
