It feels like we’ve been talking about El-P’s upcoming Cancer for Cure for months, but the former Definitive Jux figurehead went and made the release official today, announcing that it’ll be out on May 22nd via Fat Possum. Not only that, but “The Full Retard”, Cancer for Cure‘s poorly named official first single is now out for you to head-bob to (head to his blog to read the song’s lyrics).
He’s also put out some details about the new album, with Pitchfork reporting that it’ll include a pretty heavy list of guest collaborators, including but not limited to Mr. Muthafuckin’ eXquire, Danny Brown, and Paul Banks…you know, the dude from Interpol.
