Florence + the Machine recorded an MTV Unplugged performance last December 16 in New York City, and now the performance will be released on CD and digital download on April 9.

Along with singer Florence Welch, the performance featured three band members and a 10-piece gospel choir. We’ll hear Welch’s Otis Redding cover (“Try A Little Tenderness”), as well as a duet with Queens Of The Stone Age frontman Josh Homme on the Jerry Leiber and Billy Edd Wheeler song “Jackson.”

Florence + the Machine will make their way to Canada this summer. Check out the tracklist of the MTV Unplugged album below. [via NME]
