Bob Dylan is reportedly hard at work on his 35th studio album, which if all goes to plan could see a release by the end of the year. But what’s most surprising isn’t that the legendary singer-songwriter is still working away at 70-years-old, it’s that this newest works will reportedly be Latin-American inspired.

Los Lobos David Hidalgo, who’s worked with Dylan on his more recent releases, told the Aspen Times about Dylan’s new Mexican flavour. “He liked the sound. So we’d get it in there,” said Hidalgo, referring to the tres guitar.

“It was a great experience,” said Hidalgo on recording with Dylan. “And different. Each one has been different, all completely different approaches. It’s an amazing thing, how he keeps creativity. I don’t see how he does it.”
