Neil Young and Crazy Horse announce their first show together in eight years

A new Neil Young and Crazy Horse album has been rumoured for sometime, and the above footage, a new, 37-minute jam posted on Young’s official website within the last week, confirmed that something was in the works. We now know at least part of what it could be for—Neil Young and Crazy Horse have just announced their live return.

According to Rolling Stone, they’ll be performing at the MusicCares Person of the Year Gala honoring Paul McCartney on February 10 at the Los Angeles Convention Center.

This will mark their first performance since the Greendale tour in March 2004. And so we wait. If not for more possible tour dates, for the iPod Neil Young wants to make.
