MEME ALERT: Close-Ups of Pop Stars (Katy Perry, Lady Gaga, Britney Spears, and more)

Celebrity Close-Up is a Tumblr that has been posting high resolution photos of celebrities’ faces. The high resolution photos aren’t exactly forgiving, so the faces featured on this blog kind of make them look like glossy, makeup-caked monsters. It’s interesting to see these celebrities close-up and put a microscope on their imperfections, since many of these stars are typically airbrushed to all-hell and slapped on covers of fashion magazines. A great number of these famous face belong to pop stars young & old, so I thought I’d post a few of my favourites.
