Members of Braids and Toro y Moi release a new EP as Gremlins

Wellll why not, is how I feel about this one: Patrick Jeffords of Toro y Moi and Katie Lee of Braids, plus Mat Cothran of Coma Cinema and Sam Ray of Ricky Eat Acid have formed a group together called Gremlins.

They recorded an EP at “Page Chilton’s House in Columbia, SC during the latter half of 2011,” says their Bandcamp page. It’s a glitchy, jammy little thing, with some standard overdriven guitar thrown in here and there, which probably isn’t a huge surprise.
