Limp Bizkit sign to Cash Money Records

When Limp Bizkit were dropped from Interscope, Fred Durst released a statement that was both sad and misleading. Clearly backtracking after an unfortunate turn for the worst, Durst said he was happy that the band could finally explore being “independent”. Naturally, that lasted about two months.

Spin reports today that the former rap-metal titans had signed with Cash Money Records, putting them in the same family as Lil Wayne, Drake and Nicki Minaj. Just imagine the possibilities here: Nicki Minaj and Wes Borland could share hair and make-up tips while Durst and Drake duet on a track that’s both full of sadness and braggadocio.
