Watch a time-lapse video of the making of Animal Collective's 'Strawberry Jam'

by Nicole Villeneuve

Animal Collective is just a week outside of heading into the studio to record their new album, and they’ve just posted a time-lapse video of the making of 2007’s Strawberry Jam.

“Scott Colburn had a great idea when we were recording Strawberry Jam. He set up a video camera to take short clips of footage once a minute for the whole time we were in the studio. This is the unedited result. Our tracking session for Strawberry Jam in Tucson at Wavelab Studios in 2007.”

The clip lasts just 9 minutes and the audio could almost pass as some chopped and screwed Animal Collective. Watch the video above.
