The Walkmen add a Toronto date to their 10th anniversary tour

Late last year, the Walkmen announced that a new album was planned for release this coming summer, and that a 10-year anniversary tour would also take place this year.

“Thanks to everyone who came to our wild anniversary party shows in San Francisco and Chicago,” the band wrote in a post on their site. “They were big nights for us and we appreciate all the support. Since they went so well we’re adding a couple more.”

One of the shows will be at the Phoenix in Toronto on March 2. The other show will be in Philadelphia on March 3. Tickets go on sale this Friday. [via Frank Yang]
