Though Seattle garage greats the Murder City Devils reunited a while ago and have done some minimal touring over the past five years, there was no sign of any new music, so it was a surprise to hear today that the band has released a new seven-inch.

“We are excited to announce the release of our first new songs in 10 years,” the band said on their website. “This two song 7″ was recorded last summer, in Southern California. We did it all, and it was a blast.”

The single features new songs “Everyday I Rise” and “Ball Busters in the Peanut Gallery,” and are limited to 2000 copies, of which, at the time of writing, there were only 457 left. Get the single online at the band’s store, and listen to “Everyday I Rise” over here. [via 107.7 The End]
