One day after the Boss released a song that sounded like it belonged in an insurance commercial and Lucero’s back with a new track set cure what ails rootsy rockers worldwide. “Sometimes” is the first single off the group’s upcoming Women and Work, and frontman Ben Nichols tells Rolling Stone that its lyrics are the most personal on the record.
“My family always seems to work its way into my songs. Fathers and brothers and ghosts,” he says.
