The Great Lake Swimmers have announced their new album New Wild Everywhere to be released on April 3, and we’re getting a first listen in the form of “Easy Come Easy Go,” which you can stream below.

The follow up to their last studio album, 2009’s Lost Channels, the new album was recorded in Toronto at Revolution Recording studio. “It came as a bit of a surprise how well we functioned as a band in that environment,” frontman Tony Dekker said in a statement about going back to a more conventional recording space. “We were able to focus completely on the songs, rather than the logistical obstacles of waiting for the boat to dock, or the rain to stop.”

The song may be the most upbeat the band has ever done. Check the song and some tour dates out below. [via Exclaim!]
