Kingston is taking suggestions on how to honour its greatest export, The Tragically Hip

Kingston, ON, is having a hard time deciding just how to honour its most successful sons, the Tragically Hip.

So far, the city has come up with two ideas: renaming Barrack Street between King Street and Ontario Street, either permanently or honorarily as Tragically Hip Way, or, naming a public asset in the North Block.

A public meeting was held last night, but additional suggestions and feedback is welcome in an online poll on the City’s website until January 20. Play nice. [via The Ottawa Citizen]
