Watch the new Kathleen Edwards video, "Change the Sheets"

It’s too long, still, how long we have to wait for Kathleen Edwards‘ new album Voyageur, which is out on January 17, so at least now we have this video for new single “Change the Sheets.”

Directed by Dan Huiting (Bon Iver, Yelle, Colin Stetson), the video is a rather simple montage of life on the road—setting up for shows, playing shows, long drives—but it’s so beautifully shot and tightly put together (not unlike the song) that it’s nothing short of exhilarating.

The outdoor shots are really what makes the clip—Huiting turns the potentially bleak and mundane into wistful and inspiring. And the turbine shot? Oh that turbine shot. You can watch the video above. [via Paste]
