Watch My Morning Jacket cover Gil Scott-Heron's "The Bottle"

At a recent performance in New York City, My Morning Jacket brought out flautist Brian Jackson to help on a cover of Gil Scott-Heron’s iconic anthem “The Bottle,” which Jackson co-wrote with Scott-Heron back in the 70s.

The group also played their rendition of Bing Crosby’s “I’ll Be Home For Christmas,” the studio version of which can be found on their recently released, Christmas themed iTunes Session EP.
