Hey good news, (American) people who’ve bought tickets from Ticketmaster any time between October 21, 1999 and October 19, 2011 (so, like everyone?) and paid the company’s silly and inflated processing fee! You just might be entitled to a refund!

When the ongoing class action suit is settled, the ticketing giant just might have to dish out $1.50 to each customer who paid the a processing fee without being informed about it. Customers can claim up to 17 orders each. But here’s the Totally Ticketmaster catch of it all: the refund will be issued in the form of a Ticketmaster discount code good for a Ticketmaster credit. This particular case only applies to you if you were a U.S. citizen at the time of purchase.

The case probably won’t be settled until May 29, 2012, according to Business Insider, but you can track its progress and learn more about it at TicketFeeLitigation.com. [via Spin]
