Toronto’s the Wooden Sky had a stellar album in 2009’s If I Don’t Come Home You’ll Know I’m Gone, and the wait for its follow up (excluding the recent City of Light EP) is coming to an end: the band has just announced Every Child a Daughter, Every Moon a Sun will be out on February 28 via Black Box recordings.

“Everyone had their eyes and ears open searching for new textures to play with,” singer Gavin Gardiner says about the band’s cottage-retreat writing process. They worked once again at Montreal’s Hotel2Tango studio with producer Howard Bilerman and Radwan Ghazi Moumneh, as well as other locations such as homes and churches.

The band will hit the road in the new year in support of the album as well. Check out all the tour dates below.
