Michael Jackson will get his own 'Glee' tribute episode

They’ve tackled Madonna and Britney Spears, and now the cast of Glee will attempt to take on Michael Jackson‘s catalogue in a tribute episode set to air January 24.

The episode, which is being fast-tracked in the writer’s room right now, will apparently feature ten to twelve Jackson songs. A lot for a TV episode maybe, but only a dent in the King of Pop’s legacy.

The show had shied away from these sort of tribute shows of late as part of a “renewed commitment to focus on story over spectacle,” but I guess with Jacko, we inherently get a little bit of both? [via TV Guide]
