Listen to a new Air song, "Seven Stars," featuring Beach House's Victoria Legrand

In 2010, French duo Air got on board to create a new soundtrack to a revived version of Georges Méliès 1902 silent film Le Voyage Dans La Lune (Journey To The Moon), the same film that inspired the Smashing Pumpkin’s “Tonight Tonight” video.

The soundtrack to the film was then turned into a full Air album, ‘Le Voyage Dans La Lune’, which is due for release on February 6, 2012. It’ll be their first since 2009’s Love 2. Today we hear one of the songs from it, the beautiful “Seven Stars,” featuring Beach House vocalist Victoria Legrand. You can listen to the song above.

The film, complete with new soundtrack, premiered at this year’s Canne’s Film Festival. [via NME]
