Call it a gimmick if you want, but by the end of Kanye West and Jay-Z’s Watch the Throne tour the questions swapped from how the two would perform together to how many times they’d play “Niggas in Paris.” If you were in Toronto, the answer was three the first night alone. If you saw them in L.A., the answer was ten. And if you saw Kanye and Jay-Z in Vancouver the other night, you’d have heard the song a whooping eleven times. In total, the hip-hop power-duo performed the song 168 times at 34 shows. That’s a nearly 5-per gig average. Nearly 18-minutes a night of the same song. This is just some of the number crunching Rolling Stone did.

For example if you put each performance of the song back-to-back and timed it, you’d end up with 613.2 minutes, during which you could watch 26.7 episodes of Full House. Each performance of the song has two seconds worth of Mary Kate and Ashley; extrapolated, that adds up to 5 minutes by the end of the tour. And it just gets weirder from there….
