Canadian Music Fest is continuing to roll out its 2012 line-up with another slew of headliners added to this year’s festivities. Newly added headliners include Childish Gambino, Saul Williams, the Trews and Cat Empire, all of whom join the already massive list of acts set to take the stages in Toronto from March 21-25.

The Slacker sponsored music festival is expected to have its full line-up unveiled by January 16th and with over 900 artists expected to take part in 2012, the list will probably prove to be too lengthy to talk about in full. That doesn’t mean it won’t be without its highlights, though, with a number of buzz-y names still expected to join in for the next big announcement. Head over to the Canadian Music Fest website to see a list of acts already announced.

As always, Canadian Music Week is bookended by the Indies awards, which promises this year to include a special, one-off reunion by “one of Canada’s most influential pop punk bands.” The full Indies line-up and list of nominees will be announced on January 16th, 2012, while the show itself will happen March 24th at the Fairmont Royal York Hotel.
