Writer asks Dr. Dre about Detox at a press conference, is immediately kicked out

Attending a press conference in New York for the new range of Beats by Dr. Dre headphones, Guardian writer Kieran Yates opened up his allocated time by going through a range of acceptable questions.
She asks if Dre’s business acumen has over taken his title as an artist. She talks to Dre about the widespread popularity and presence of his headphones. She tries to ask about his influence but is cut off. That’s when, realizing her time is running out, she does the one thing she’s been strictly told not to.
She asked when Detox was coming out.
As Yates tells it, here’s what happened next.
“The room shudders, the PR bristles, and with that I’m ushered out.”
Announced in 2000, Dr. Dre’s Detox still doesn’t have a release date. The Detox Edition of his Beats by Dr. Dre headphones have, however, been available since September.
