At this point the Red Hot Chili Peppers provide a certain bit of comfort, don’t you know? So musically reliable and familiar. We need that in our lives.

They’ve been sticking to the old fashioned route when it comes to making videos, too. Meaning they’re still making them for every single. But their latest isn’t just a typical performance video; they’ve worked again with director Marc Klasfied to create an intricate and eye-pleasing performance/animation hybrid video. The drawings are based on the work of artist Raymond Pettibon, and they make for a compelling visual.
