Watch Ryan Adams and Laura Marling perform "Oh My Sweet Carolina" at Abbey Road

Laura Marling joined Ryan Adams at Abbey Road studios recently to do a duet of his song “Oh My Sweet Carolina,” a collaboration that was particularly meaningful to Adams.

“[I was] sent her second record when I was working on my new record…and it knocked me over,” Adams says in the video. “I actually threw out the album and re-wrote my record, based on that album. I thought, ‘someone’s actually taking this very seriously! I should probably take this seriously!’ It was amazing. A great motivation.”

The duet is about as sweet as you’d imagine. Watch the clip above.
