Exhumed are renowned for their gory, bloody brand of death metal, which last week took a turn for the romantic when Nokturnal Hellstorm vocalist Ron Blackwell asked the band to help him propose to his girlfriend on stage.
Citing her love of horror movies and death metal as the inspiration behind the proposal, Blackwell launched into a touching speech before drenching the stage in a pool of artificial blood.
“I want to spend the rest of my life with you. I love you so much it hurts,” said Blackwell before ripping open his shirt and handing his future fiancé a blood-drenched, prosthetic heart.
The future Mrs. Blackwell said yes. “Fuck yes,” to be specific. [via Blabbermouth]
