Friday night marked the kick-off of Kanye West and Jay-Z’s drooled-over Watch the Throne tour, and GQ magazine was in attendance to report minute-by-minute on the proceedings. They’ve documented it here in a tale that’s every bit as engrossing as you’d think it would be.

From the flight to the tour kick-off in Atlanta to the buzz around town to watching Kanye get dressed and Jay-Z getting treated with silent reverie to, you know, the show itself, and the post-show glow. “It seems clear that the show will be tweaked,” says GQ writer Will Welch, “and that this is going to be one badass motherfucking tour.” [via GQ]
