In light of now-world-famous Feist‘s upcoming large-scale tour of new album Metals, CBC Radio 3 has unearthed an old street side performance from the singer.
In June 2004, Feist took to Toronto’s (though CBC has it as Vancouver…) Queen Street West—Feist’s old stomping grounds—sidewalk for a NXNE session, playing material from the then brand-new Let It Die. The city street ambience really makes this short performance—you can hear traffic and sirens and people milling about. Listen to it over at CBC3.
