Listen to a new song from VCMG (Depeche Mode founders Vince Clarke and Martin Gore), "Spock"

Vince Clarke and Martin Gore hadn’t worked together since Clarke left Depeche Mode in 1980, but after trading e-mails the two came together for the first time in 31 years to form VCMG, a proposed techno collaboration between two of new wave’s most important figures.

Now, after speculation of what the duo’s upcoming Spock EP would sound like, Pitchfork has gotten an early stream of the release’s title track, which, if anything, proves there’s no age limit for glow sticking.

Spock is out December 13th through Mute. A VCMG full-length is expected sometime in early 2012.
