Abominable Iron Sloth vocalist still in custody after his bizarre, mushroom fuelled arrest last month

Abominable Iron Sloth’s vocalist is reportedly still in custody nearly three weeks after being arrested under some pretty bizarre, magic mushroom-influenced circumstances.

Lambgoat reports that Justin Godfrey called police on October 27th claiming to be the “Angel of Death” and admitting to being on his front porch holding an assault weapon.  Police arrived on scene and arrested Godfrey without incident, but after surrendering his weapon the admittedly self-medicated Godfrey reportedly insisted on talking to police about “the end of the world and what things are going to transpire.”

Godfrey’s bail is set at $30,000. He’s been charged with unlawful assault weapon activity and possession of an assault weapon, both of which are felonies.
