As Phoenix toured the world in support of their breakout album Wolfgang Amadeus Phoenix, director Antoine Wagner (who also did their “Lisztomania” video) trailed along and filmed it all. Now, the footage is being released as a documentary.
From A Mess To The Masses, a title taken from the lyrics to their biggest hit “Lisztomania,” was co-directed by Sorriano Francisco, and is so far only set for air in France and Germany and will premiere this week on October 13. Based on the above trailer, we’ll see plenty of live and behind-the-scenes footage—just what the tour documentary ordered.
