Watch the new Forest City Lovers video, "Keep the Kids Inside"

Forest City Lovers are getting set to head west on tour for the month of November, but not before treating us to a new video from their most recent album Carriage.
The song “Keep the Kids Inside,” a take on the perceived vs. real safety of the suburbs, features just that: kids being kids in remote(r) locales. A collaborative effort between Toronto art duo istoica and directors Mary Gerretsen and James Cooper, and featuring styling by Toronto fashion/life writer Sarah Nicole Prickett, the video is warm and nostalgic, and alongside singer Kat Burns’ darker scenes (filmed in Oshawa, ON), achieves the feeling of the song: a bit dark, a bit whimsical.
