This past spring and summer, Hey Rosetta! and director Noah Pink traveled all over St. John’s NFLD, to film a live version of the song “Bandages” for their new video. You can watch the finished product above.

Taking place on boats, in fast food joints, on roads, near lakes, and in derelict buildings, the video shows off the natural beauty and hidden parts of the scenic city. Most striking are the live scenes in a church, where the band is lit with candlelight and accompanied by a choir for backing vocals, and on a bank overlooking the ocean, again accompanied by a choir under a grey East Coast sky. The studio version of the song is available on the band’s most recent album Seeds. Both are worth checking out.

Hey Rosetta! have just announced two special homecoming shows in St. Johns for Hey Rosetta! at The Delta Ballroom on December 15 and 16. Those shows follow their Australian tour in October and the full Canadian ‘Yer Fall’ tour happening in November. Check out the full tour and ticket info at their website.
