The mayor-ordered clean up of Manhattan’s Occupy Wall Street location at Zuccoti Park may have been postponed this morning, but it looks like Russell Simmons was at the ready to step in and help in a manner that would discourage any negative confrontations.

Simmons showed up this morning as he did earlier this week to support the protests. “Thank God no confrontation no violence no jail. Clean-up cancelled. Thousands of peaceful people,” he tweeted once they learned the protestors would not be forced out today.
