Next year, in celebration of the 25th anniversary of acclaimed album Graceland, Paul Simon will be bringing the musicians that created the album with him—including South African vocal group Ladysmith Black Mambazo—out on the road to tour the album.

This past summer, Simon played a show with trumpeter Hugh Masekela and Ladysmith Black Mambazo in South Africa as part of a documentary by director Joe Berlinger that will accompany a new anniversary Graceland box set.

“The documentary took me back to the artistic aspects and the political aspects of making Graceland and the controversy that surrounded it and how it was resolved, plus what remains of it and what we learn from it,” Simon said in a statement.

No dates for the tour or box set have been confirmed as of yet. [via BBC]
