Next week marks the return of U.S. shoegaze duo Mazzy Star after fifteen years working on solo material; they’re releasing a new single “Common Burn”/”Lay Myself Down,” and today we get to hear the b-side of the single. (The a-side can be previewed on Amazon.)

Hope Sandoval and David Roback recorded the single in California, London, and Norway. It’s the prelude to a new full album. Listen to “Lay Myself Down” over at Pitchfork.
