Listen to a new Guided By Voices song, "The Unsinkable Fats Domino"

“The Unsinkable Fats Domino” isn’t just the first new Guided By Voices song in roughly seven years, but its the first track from the band since its classic line-up reformed in June 2010. Set to appear on Let’s Go Eat the Factory, the band’s new album due out on New Year’s Day 2012, the track reunites Robert Pollard, Tobin Sprout, Greg Demos, Mitch Mitchell, and Kevin Fennell for two poppy minutes that are right in line with what fans of the band were hoping to hear.
The song’s 7″ single is out November 22 via Matador, with “We Won’t Apologize” set to be its B-Side. Listen below and click here to download it. [via Robert Pollard]
